Pretty sure DWR's stuff is real (i.e., womb chair by Knoll).
Maybe you're thinking of West Elm or CB2?

Aren't DWR's iconic pieces knockoffs? Can someone explain this to me?
On this topic--does anyone know where I can get a cheap saarinen womb chair and ottoman? Goddamn they're pricy.
I know of one knockoff they sell: the Eileen Gray side table. The official one made by ClassiCon costs significantly more. AFAIK, the other iconic pieces (from Knoll, Herman Miller, etc.) are approved production.
This is precisely the reason I got the Modernica version.
I'd go for a Vernor Panton rug if I wanted something graphic in black and white.
Or perhaps, a zebra skin?
