Uniqlo Low rise boxer brief and H&M ones have been the best. H&M has a bigger front pouch, so they dont pull away from the leg zone as much, but are a little long. Uniqlo ones also dont stretch out as the day goes on.

Tried the Merona ones from Target a couple years ago, not impressed. Certainly better than say hanes, but way way way too big, Mediums fit like a large. Might have well been plain boxers.

I wear synthetics for sports (ex officio, patagonia, UA) and cotton for everyday (CK, Boss, 2x). Recently, I picked up a couple of high quality microfiber boxerbriefs by Hugo Boss and they are very very good, even though they are pricey. They are good enough to wear for everything. I saw CK MF one's recently for around $25 which is more reasonable. Anyone else tried these?

You picked the wrong ones from Target. The champion trunks that are 97% 3% spandex are where it's at. $14 for 2, don't lose their fit throughout the day, and provide plenty of support. Just size down one (I'm a 31 wear a small, which is supposed to be 28-30 for reference).

A. Kabbaz is interviewed in the most recent Departures mag for his bespoke undies.
$250/pair 6 minimum, trial pairs, fittings etc. if that's your thing.

I like the trunks, or short boxer briefs, too.

I currently have,
Calvin Klein pima cotton trunks
Calvin Klein cotton short boxer briefs
Gap cotton short boxer briefs
Uniqlo cotton/spandex trunks

I've also owned prior some 2xist boxer breifs and some other designer trunks, and I like the fit and feel of the CK pima cotton trunks the best.

I just buy whatever the cheapest 100% cotton boxers I can find. As long as they aren't scratchy. I can't really feel them during the day anyway.

I don't need them to look fancy, just protect my pants from ******.

Purple and black houndstooth = awesome

I like AA briefs but they are kinda expensive at the store. I have a few from the store at a sale, I'm going to order a big pack on ebay sometime from a wholesaler for cheap. I hate boxers, so much dangling and friction... I like to keep my junk close to my pelvis.
