Fuckin Den charged me $20 shipping TWICE, once to ship and once to ship the exchange, plus I had to pay to ship it back.

That vest is really cool and I considered picking it up, but I just don't like the shawl collar when it's folded down.

I agree. The field shirt jacket and WWM Maine Guide jackets also look alot better with their collars up too.

I prefer both with their collars down, more so for the Field Shirt Jacket than the Maine Guide Jacket, although they're both cool either way

. By the way, August just received several boxes of EG, leftover stock from the owner's NY trip to EG. I'll report back after I check it out this afternoon.

I'm curious to know what the sizing will be like on them - with last year's I went down to a small with no problem.

Thanks, man. H&L and S&W are both carrying EG, but don't have the Ground jkt. Barney's and Bloomies (seriously, **** that place anyway - I'm embarrassed for even calling them) claim they don't have it either. Might have to go with the light blue from Den. Drats.

Hi Gary,

did you get the Chesterfield for this season yet? How would you describe the warmth as it's unlined apparently. I wonder if it's made from the same wool the Field Parka is.

Thanks

Does anyone know how the shall-collar cardigan fits? It looks a bit short in photos.

The wool knit version does fit on the short side, but not too short. Good if you want to show a little bit of untucked shirt underneath, which wouldn't be a bad thing in terms of layering. I don't recall exactly, but it hit at or just below the belt. Of course I'm only 5'9" and that was a medium. If you're taller you might have issues.

If anyone's interested in the FW06 Recycled Wool Shawl Collar Sweater in the pics below, Gary has one available in a Large (fits like a large) for $195.00.
