Just received the CL Workshirt from Gary. Fabric is ?? (55% Cotton / 45% Linen). Wish I picked this one up sooner in the season, but still a ways before the heat is gone.

Damn! This was available in sale at the Bureau, but I didn't pulled the trigger as the color looked weird on their pictures. Now it's gone and I want it so bad!

Dunno why they decided to add the label to the front of the jacket... ruined it imo, not sure if I should pick this up. a tailor can maybe remove it?

You could remove it yourself pretty easily with a seam ripper.

EG started doing that a few years ago. I have no idea why. I think it might be harder to remove than you think b/c it's sewn into a seam rather than tacked on. But probably doable with a little patience, or you could take it to a tailor.

I'd be careful removing that @mythage - to Peter's point, they likely sewed the tag on while sewing the seam across the chest. Removing it with a seam ripper could leave loose ends on the chest seam and result in holes.

Personally, I'd keep the tag there or pass. It's part of the imperfect charm of a patchwork trucker jacket which at it's core is a blue collar style.

Can anyone point in me in direction of New Balance x EG 990 in grey in the UK ?
I thought there would be loads of places stocking them can’t find any
