I'll take a look, too. I'm finishing up Season 2 of Being Human and just finished Season 2 of Misfits. BBC shows are superior to most American shows not only because of the dry wit but the lessened censorship allows for more freedom.
What's Misfits about?
Umm....it's sort of a "realistic" take on the idea of normal people getting superpowers in a freak storm. Except in this case the normal people are a group of kids performing community service.
An easy read. Fairly evocative. The lady above was in one of the two recent Bond filums.

And it's hilarious (in that dark British way) while maintaining nice character development and a solid plot. Between Misfits, Being Human, and the Inbetweeners, I barely watch American TV. Hell, when Doctor Who comes back, I'm certain it'll be BBC only on my box.
read them all. he's a really good writer, but his books are incredibly variable. at the worst, they're kind of genre hackwork ... but by a good writer so the plot moves along respectably with a little more depth than you might expect. When he's clicking, though, the books are really terrific. IIRC, the ones I liked best were the ones set in the south: cosi fan tutti is really fun; Medusa, Rat King and Blood Rain are darker and good.
Saw episode two last night. Hooked on the shw
did a search on the torrent. The link is on page 1 but you need to register. Also I think it airs every sunday.
