What is the difference in actual sleeve length between the two shirts? It looks to me like the shirt you're wearing is a touch too long: especially seen in the unbuttoned picture and in the subsequent one showing the bunching up. I think if it was shorter by 1/4 inch, when buttoned (it probably would need to be even shorter in the unbuttoned state) it would be good. The jacket sleeves look pretty spot on to me.
Thank you for the input. The BR Regular shirt sleeves are 34" and the Tall are 35.5". Here are pics wearing a BR Regular shirt. The sleeves sit just about flush with the jacket sleeves.

Thanks for the new pictures. I would think the regular shirt length is probably better in which case you'd need to take the jacket sleeves up by 1/4 inch or so. Also, and mind you that pictures may not tell the full story, the right jacket sleeve looks a tad longer than the left.

Sleeve length isn't too bad, nothing a tailor couldn't fix, but the jacket length definitely appears short - it doesn't cover your seat. I recommend a longer jacket.

They're still a bit too small for me, personally. Though, to be fair, I just looked at some other areas of the site, and I find all those pics to be a bit lacking, as well.

Thanks for your feedback - we'll consider this as we move forward adding new merchandise to see if we can make the photos slightly larger.

I would tend to agree. Unless you're going for the trendy shorter jacket look the length is quite short.

Ben, we need a basic dark brown corduroy jacket in our lives. Hopefully one of the new Bella Spallas...

Really? Corduroy? Anyone else feeling a brown corduroy jacket? Wide wale I presume? I used to have one from Zegna Soft about 15 years ago... come to think of it I have no idea what happened to it. I did actually wear it quite a bit and found it to be quite versatile - especially for more casual wear.

I have a navy cord jacket I wear a lot. I'd probably wear brown, too. Wore a brown one a lot in high school and loved it.

I would be interested in a brown corduroy jacket.

@eHaberdasher , I'm trying to decide whether or not to pick up one of the few reamaining Classico II suits in 38s since that model has been discontinued. But I have a few questions regarding the difference between the Classico II, Nobile, and Bella Spalla jackets. I have a Bella Spalla v2 in 38s (http://ehaberdasher.com/index.php/benjamin-bella-spalla-sport-coat-38s-2124.html) that I'm using it for reference.

How do the sleeves between the three jackets compare? Are the similarly tapered? What is the measurement of the sleeve opening width at the wrist?

Also, what is the lapel width on all three jackets models?

Thanks!

All the Benjamin suits and jackets feature higher armholes and a slimmer European fit and are fairly classic. The Granoro, Classico, and Classico II are all very similar with little difference. It started with the Granoro and then we made some slight adjustments which most people wouldn't even notice (adjusted the collar positioning slightly) for the Classico and Classico II. Lapels measure 8 cm.

The Nobile is a new model, again with high armohles and fully canvassed, but the shoulders are slightly softer than the Granoro/Classico and the fit is just a little bit more form fitting than the Granoro/Classico - particularly in the shoulders. Also the lapels are 9 cm.

Bella Spalla is half canvassed and has 8 cm lapels and soft shoulders. Also this line is made in Italy whereas the other lines are made in China.

Admittedly I don't have any of the Bella Spalla with me anymore in London, but all the sleeve widths should be fairly comparable.

what are the chances the Classico II goes on sale now that they're discontinued? Really loving this suit but a little out of my price range.

Honestly we weren't planning on dropping the prices, at least not any time soon as they're already $25 less than the new Nobile model. If anything we may be dropping the prices on the blue plaid ones as those are not selling as well, but the solids are staples that we have and will always have, and the models are all fairly classic. We'll see though...
