Why is Bonobos so overpriced

Even on sale now, their simple "Tech" nylon shirt is still $65 from $88 regular price, $90 for a simple nylon shirt? This has to be the most overhyped and overrated men's clothing line in the existence of the internet. Their chinos are like $130, yet there's nothing special about them. Lots of people say that after the Walmart acquisition, they changed supplier and expected the customers to not know any better, quality went down.

Its Walmart, of course, they would do this.

Bonobos was always heavy in advertising and flashy website design photos, etc this is how they hooked all these dumb millenials into buying a product you can't even try in person.

Quality of their clothing probably isn't any better than Gap

The only thing they actually have going for them that makes them stand out is their sizing options compared to brands they compete with.

They have a shop in San Francisco. I checked it out a few years ago
for chinos. What they had was crap.
