Yeah but that's the issue, among guys who know watches, you'll basically come off as a joke. Whereas the Seiko I posted looks a tad busy, but it's not trying to be anything other than what it is. The irony is that, in the Asian markets, Seiko releases high end models at the Rolex price point, and they get a lot of respect in those markets. No idea why the marketing geniuses at Seiko haven't tried to penetrate the US market. I've always owned Seikos and I love them.

i prefer the 2nd one. imo it has a cleaner look too it and would look great with the metal band, leather, or nylon band.
