No, he probably just wants his "hundreds of dollars" shoes. I can understand his neurosis.

No bare feet...but two careers (me and the evil empress), two kids (under the age of 4), two houses (actually just sold one)

.....NO TIME! So a new pair of shoes is a small pleasure in this rat race that I get VERY excited over.

I am a rebel. There just seems to be something too "show and tell" or exhibitionistic (if that is a word) to take pics of my shoes and post them on the site. Although I do like to see the pics.

In many instances I could agree. However, the benefit of posting shoe pictures is that many of us will never see these shoes in person, and rely on other forum members' pictures to learn about shoes we may be interested in.

For example, I've seen two pair of Edward Green shoes in person in my life - the two pair I now own. However, I was able to view numerous pictures of the various last shapes, EG antiqueing (sp?) finish, and various colors from viewing all the pictures posted here. For some reason, you get a much better idea of what you will recieve based on the photos here than based on the pictures at skyvalet1. EG's website is horrible when it comes to viewing any shoes at all.

(all my humble opinion - others may differ).

SO TRUE

It baffles me that some of these shoe manufacturers can't take better pictures of their shoes. I always use the styleforum shoe pic archive when checking out different models. The user photos are always MUCH better than the stock photos.
