I saw Mission Impossible 4 at the IMAX. It's an incredibly dumb movie and the plot is mind-boggingly stupid. BUT, the action sequence on the Burj Tower is pretty ******* amazing, at least on the IMAX screen. It's worth watching just for that. There's also one early break-in at the Kremlin that features a slow sneak down a hallway that didn't make me feel dumber just for being in the theater. The rest of it was garbage, but what can you do?

The wife and I went to see The Descendants on Saturday. It was pretty similar to any other AP movie, which is to say highly enjoyable. It will also probably get better with age.

I thought that movie was overrated. While good not something I'd want to watch again. I thought the dialogue was wooden in areas, the Sid character didn't really make sense. And George Clooney didn't make sense as the father.

Agreed. Excellent stuff in that film.

I'm not a giant fan of the Batman movies. It looks ok for what it is. I remember seeing the first few minutes of the last film on Imax and the bank robbery scene that's the beginning of that movie is really great. This one not so much.

The Guard - fairly good. Funny in places.

Tyrannosaur- Eddie Marson is brilliant.
