Have to say, with as much fanfare as stone gets, I’m just not a fan. But, if you do ever have a chance to visit their brewery/taproom in SD, it’s definitely worth a visit. Absolutely beautiful.
Seriously. Gorgeous set up. Food is also pretty solid, for what one might expect.

My wife and I had lunch with friends at their Escondido location back in April. It’s a cool place, but they’re not my favorite San Diego area brewery. I really dig Ballast Point and Alesmith.

Aviation sans creme de violette per Craddock’s recipe in the Savoy book. Empress gin gives it the colour.

I went for a bike ride and stopped at Avery Brewing on the way home. The pictured beer is a 1752 IPA, paired perfectly with Ulysses.
