The only time I ever got throw-up sick drunk was from screwdrivers made with Ketel One and extra pulp orange juice. I haven’t had vodka since.
It's always funny how food/drink associations get lodged in our brains. I have an aunt who would eat spinach all the time as a kid. Like, every meal was spinach. And one time her sister made a big bunch of spinach and didn't know you had to really wash spinach.

Well my aunt Kimmy got a mouthful of grit and decades later has been unable to eat spinach.

My third and final time getting vomit/black out level was courtesy of captain and monster energy. Woke up in my friends backyard lawn chair with his dog eating my vomit.

Yeah that was Rolling Rock and Killians Red for me. Lucky it wasn't a whole category, but two beers i don't think are even produced anymore.

A very underrated liqueur that will enhance any home bar is a coffee liqueur. I have Bittermens. It's essential for the espresso martini, my favorite vodka-based cocktail, and is a very nice spike for espresso, cold brew, or even plain hot coffee.

The posts between this post of mine and my last post make me ashamed to be associated with any of you, particularly @Ambulance Chaser.

My hierarchy of popular vodka-based cocktails:

Espresso Martini > Moscow Mule > Sour-Apple Martini > Cosmopolitan > Vodka Martini > Bloody Mary

If it makes you feel better, my drifting away from vodka also coincided with the rise in my appreciation for good whisky.
