No problem with that at all. I have serious respect for it. I have plenty of friends who have never had a drop of booze and others who abstain because they are in recovery. I’ve been wet for more than half my life now, longest I was sober in those years was 90 full days.
What I do have a problem with is dipshits who post about N/A bevy’s in a thread about booze. No one ******* cares about your **** ass store bought egg nog in the booze and cocktail thread. Now kindly **********, sir.
I'm sorry, I didn't see alcohol mentioned in the thread title. Good night, your Highness.
At the risk of sounding like an alcoholic, this thread is about what you are drinking at the moment.
Today I had tap water. It was good.
You alcoholics really need to get a grip. Good luck (and my your liver survive long enough to tell the tale).
I don't drink much hard liquor these days, but I do like mezcal as well. And scotch, of course.Mezcal Vago Elote
Been getting into mezcal the past few months. Really enjoying it
SoCal has some amazing mezcal bars. They send the bartenders out to the palenques to work with the distillers and learn the history/qualities of the different agave strains etc.I don't drink much hard liquor these days, but I do like mezcal as well. And scotch, of course.
When I was in southern California last January for the Rose Bowl, I paid a visit to the Tonga Hut, one of the few extant original tiki bars, and got laminated on some kind of delicous mezcal based tiki drink the bartender had made up. I wish I had been sober enough to write down the recipe.
