New martini recipe and I think a keeper.

.5 oz Lillet Blanc
.5 oz NP dry
2.5 oz Reyka vodka
1 oz Citadelle gin

Stirred of course. Very, very good. I think this might be my new recipe.

If you haven't tried this, or at least these ratios with different vodka and gin, you really should.

That's very close to Vesper ratios, which are 1:3.

Agreed, very close to it. I started playing around with the Vesper ratio, and also the modifiers, and found with these brands this is just perfect for me. Change out the gin in particular and I'm sure I would end up with different ratios again.

Little rum flight. Black Tot is good, but definitely not worth the price. I'd much rather spend way too much money on anything from Samaroli.

Red Hill Estate Pinot Noir 2013 a great example of Mornington Peninsula pinot at its peak.

This again while watching Johnny Depp in Black Mass. It's really a great recipe.

To the gurus on this thread... picked up a few bottles of Cachaca, and made a couple caipirinha's tonight. Anyone have any tips on getting the most out of the drink? I enjoyed the one that I made... but I notice that y'all always have some great tips.

Only that you must well muddl the skin. And the quality of the lime is obviously critical.

But, given cachaca, you should make a Petion - equal parts cachaca, rum (I just use Appleton's), lime, and a hair less than an equal part of Benedictine. Shaken, naturally.

Too early to drink....but thinking of either a Woodford Reserve Double Oak bourbon or JW Explorer Club.

Has anyone ever tried Ararat Armenian Brandy? I'm usually more of a scotch drinker but I really enjoy the taste of their spirits.

Just finished a bottle of their 6 year line.

Selecting from the closet stash.

Tell us about the Redbreast 21. I have the 12, 15 and 12 year cask strength and was always interested.

I've been drinking a lot of cognac and French whiskey.
