Shirt by Brooks Brothers
Tie by J. Press (off white grenadine)
Tie bar by TheTieBar.com
Pants by Ralph Lauren
Shoes by Ralph Lauren

So many issues with this look.
-Tie is a little too wide and washed out for that shirt. a knit tie with a darker color would work better.
-And then the driving shoes look off. Imo they look off with most shirt and tie ensembles and with cuff pants. the look is calling for some bulchers.
-Belt is too wide.
-Sleeves on the shirt has too much puff.

This is one of my favorite looks you've yet worn, NYR. Looking good. Shirt and tie perhaps a bit close in pattern&color (almost gives me a headache) but overall, just dandy.

A number of really really nice NYR outfits recently... until the eye reaches those :fu: :fu: cuffs. Man, you gotta do something about these stupid cuffs with their stupid contrasting selvedge. :)

that white detail strap just doesn't work with conservative leather shoes and it definitely doesn't work with every colour of their chinos in my opinion.

Unless you have a jacket to go with that outfit then lose the tie. Paired with that shirt would be hard enough to pull off even with a jacket. If you do that the whole thing will look 1000x better.

He explained earlier that his office requires a tie but has banned jackets.

Man that's rough. My heart goes out to you, Tau, seriously!

In that case I would choose a slimmer tie and keep the colour in the same family as the rest of the outfit at least. That particular tie isn't working.

Yeah in that case I'd use a cotton or knit tie... or just lose the tie for the picture, then wear it for work
