I'll admit, that monkstraps aren't the best shoes, to go with this look; they are too conservative and not the right colour. But, a 'very poor fit'? Please, elaborate.

Edit: Ah, is it because I was lifting my trousers, to show my socks? Seriously, people, this is a well-known meme, no? The trousers are a tad on the wide/casual side--only an inch max more than my suit trousers--and have a 1 inch break.

Can you really not look at that picture objectively and see that nothing fits?

I'm mostly having trouble with monks and a polo. It's like boat shoes with a kilt, makes no sense to me.

    I agree.

The angle of the shots didn't help, the trousers might be ok, not sure. The pique shirt was not flattering imo.

Weird: The shoulders fit, the length is fine, the colour if fine, there are no rips; I don't see what the problem is. Like I said, the trousers are baggier than my suit trousers but not ridiculously large. I readily admit, the use of monk straps (at least, leather) was hilarious! :p I am at my mother's for the week--taking care of the dog--and had to choose between suede loafers and monks. Should have gone loafers.

If my clothes don't fit me, I'm pretty sure 99.9% of SF members' don't. :dozingoff:

Too much room in the torso dear friend. I'm sure lots of your other clothes do fit!

Haha, just re-looking at the image, it's because I haven't pulled it down flat.

I can't believe people here are so... (stop there, Alex.) If it was any tighter, you'd see me in Soho, if you know what I mean.

I think that the framing and the angles of the pictures themselves as well as how you have manipulated the clothes make the whole outfit just look terrible. Maybe it does look better IRL but what I'm having a problem with is the dark (black?) polo on top of the white/light khaki pants. It's just too stark. That polo would only work better with dark colours like a nice pair of dark wash/raw jeans.

Totally right. This is definitely some expert level pattern mixing that I'm taking note of. Well done Ranger!
