This is MC? I guess the tie just looks skinnier in the picture. And I think the fit is on point, I think I just nitpick at stupid things like the wrinkly jeans.

You're right about one thing, the V is too wide. Tie being too skinny is your imagination. It's a 3" tie which is perfectly fine for such a slim fit. Jeans are fine to be wrinkly, this is not MC. And I am going to a funeral- my students are probably going to get creamed at this debate tournament.

We're having a conversation about wrinkly jeans? wtf, guys- you mean what normal jeans do?

Hey, I'm on board with Mr K. not liking the ridges and creases of normal denim, but that's an idiosyncrasy; the fits are good so he's allowed to be eccentric.

Don't go trying to make it normal.

You know, when I take the hot iron to my jeans, I ask myself the same question as I do when I bleach my vacuum cleaner...

This defines casual. The bright colors are used with great effect. Someone posted that the sweater looks baggy. I don't think so. It looks comfortable. Very much liking the scarf.

Tell me about the sweater KG...
And I reckon you're a Smiths fan? Keats and Yeats are on your side, but you lose....

It's an Engineered Garments four-pocket cardi. Picked it up last year from Blake when they were having a crazy sale.

I wouldn't know a Smiths tune if it hit me over the head. The '80s were my least-favorite decade for music. The early '70s, on the other hand...

I didn't like this much when I first looked at it, but it's growing on me. Not a fan of the hair, but I guess I'm not one to talk, as I get chastised on a regular basis around here for my long hair.

Particularly fond of the shoes (boots?).

Thanks, they're Lodger Hamiltons.

I don't get what's so wrong about Eason's latest pic. Apart from the neck opening of hte sweater being too large, it all looks pretty good to me, striking a nice balance between the kind of casual fits found here and the ones in SW&D. The sweater breaks up the formality of the shirt/tie, allowing a reasonable segue into the jeans and hte silhouette is nice and tidy. I could do without the exposed belt buckle thing, but as long as it's just for the photo, then I like this look a fair bit.

No tie without a jacket.

One's life shouldn't be bounded by rules, but that's a pretty good one.

Otherwise I agree with you, Holdfast.
