Waxed leather shoe: care and suitable?

Hi all

Can I get your thoughts on these shoes please. I’m looking for something to wear with chinos and possibly formal trousers to work on wet days. They’re Goodyear welted with a rubber sole.

The leather is labelled as ‘crazy horse’ and slightly rough-ish to the touch. I’ve done a lot of searching but can’t find the answer (my failing no doubt) - could I ask you experts what this may be please? An oiled finish?

Also how would I care for these? Occasional Reno? A light touch of dubbin? Some beeswax-based conditioner?

Finally, do you think these would be appropriate with any trousers other than chinos?

Thanks in advance

It is described as waxed nubuck, so basically like a waxed roughout leather. It should be very easy to care for. Brush to remove dirt, damp cloth if necessary, and a beeswax protector should be sufficient.

Thanks - I appreciate your thoughts. Any recommendations on any specific beeswax conditioners? And do you think Saphir MDO dubbin might work?

What do you think about trouser choices also - do you think they’d be safe with anything other than chinos?

Thanks again

No specific recommendations other than a neutral colored conditioner.
Those are pretty casual shoes. I'd wear them with chinos, corduroys, moleskin trousers, jeans.
