New member here and first time post.
Really appreciate any help you can give me!
Conscious there is a lot of knowledge out there and lots of you that are good with giving up your time.
I was trawling eBay a few nights ago for a vintage briefcase and found what I would have perceived to be a bargain but conscious that is seldom / never the case..
Attached pictures of said briefcase which is branded / the seller holds out to be from Asprey, I would guess from the 1950s /60s
My questions to anyone out there knowledgeable and good enough to give up their time would be:
a) is this real/ fake?
b) pursuant to the above would you invest the money in a specialist restoring the leather and inner?
I plan on using this briefcase in any event but am just intrigued as to the provenance of the item
