Haven't had any Alden nor Vibergs

These will be my first

Converse I think im a US 9-9.5

Nike flyknits i'm US 9.5-10

I think they'll fit. I'm 9.5 10 in converse and 10 10.5 in flyknits. S size 9 fits me well on the 2030 and 1035.

I have a 8.5 tan horsehide on grailed if you're interested. I think they'll be your size

Does it show more brown as you wear it in? Or is it more on a greyscale? I'm starting to warm up to it. I also have my eye on the grey calf coming out Friday. I swear, this is the worst addiction.
Have only worn them twice so far but I havn't noticed a real consistent brown to them at all.

Hey, thanks for posting these. Helps me to see just how "red" the coffee leans towards. Think I'll pass (as if I had a choice...)
If you're still considering the Standard & Strange natty cxl, I'd say go for that. I have the Mr Porter natty cxl's and they're my favorite boots I own. Although the leather looks a little washed out and blank at first, the natty cxl really darkens and patinas to a beautiful golden brown over time. I wear them twice as often as my #8 shell bergs.

Looks like a decent amount of chromepak will make the online sale. Size 8 is sold out, but there are 2-3x of most sizes 7-11 and the 1x size 12.

Not the Standard & Strange, but the Lost & Found nattys. Because of what you wrote, about the darkening and patina, is really what I'm after. So thanks for confirming that.

That makes me feel better about paying for a proxy for the 8.
Any update on the 2040 tan?

Looking at Johan's pictures of his worn pair that are similar really make me want these also. I don't know if I want to spend that much on boots though as well the GMTO.

Too bad this wasn't happening next week would have been in nyc

at least they will eventually restock the 2040 if they sell out today

How do you know there will be a restock on the 2040s?

When 3sixteen announced them I emailed Andrew ...The coffee chromepak boot is a one time only release but we are fairly certain we will release the 2040 mini ripple sole boots again, just not sure when as we are subject to viberg's production timeline.

Best,
Andrew

Awesome, I'll probably hold off then so I'm not spending two grand on boots in a month.
