  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

Thanks.

The soles are Dainite studded. I spec’d leather but was later told they couldn’t do it with stitchdown. They definitely can obviously, as they’ve done it before and after, but maybe they hadn’t figured it out yet with the higher SPI and new leather sole type.
Leather soles are nice. I've one a pair of boots with double leather soles (non-Viberg). My most comfortable pair of boots. Also, I've come prefer the Ridgeway soles compared to the Dainite soles over time. Enjoy those Shinki HB.

Yeah I want leather sole Viberg’s at some point. Have my eyes on these, especially since I sold my 2045 boondockers a few years back:

$2462 Canadian buckaroos and they still have the audacity to charge $50 for shipping. Who is even buying new Vibergs at this point?
