I'll say this though: I researched viberg sizing EXSTENSIVELY when I was about to buy my first pair. Something I noticed is that a couple years ago, going down a full size seemed to work for most people. And it seemed like the general consensus. However, as of a year or so ago, I've started to notice more and more complaints about a full size down just being too damn small. Many people in threads were also saying their half size down vibergs worked and fit perfectly for them. It seems the general consensus among boot enthusiasts has switched to half size down while most retailers are still recommending the full size down. However, BC for example recommended a half size down to me, so I think retailers are starting to follow this consensus. I think Viberg changed the insole or something like that? I think it has more arch support now, so that might be what's eating more room on the inside. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, as they are just observations I've made while lurking forums.
Concur. I'm 10.5D and match the suggestions above.
Are your feet different sizes at all? I find my right foot is a little smaller and wondering how much it affects people in 2030. I'm the same brannock size as you.
I sent an email to BCC asking them to see if they'd offer some kind of exchange/return/partial credit but have yet to hear back from them after my initial phone call. As a vendor, what would you do in this situation if the original manufacturer isn't able to help? If you think I'm being too picky or unreasonable, please let me know!
I'm also curious about the patina if anyone has examples.
Also do folks take the same size in the 2030 derby as the 2030 service boot?
This is a natural horsebutt on 2030. It is about two years old, it doesn't get much wear probably once a month. Sorry for the bad cellphone photo and it's nicely patina in person. I like this leather. You can probably take the same size as the derby for 2030.

This pair of shoe receives zero product. It is just brush regularly. I think the toe somehow pick up more geases from the street. Maybe just the way I brush them.
