How are you guys with american cards paying at HFWLTD? Both my Costco Visa and Citibank MC are getting denied.
not sure if this applies specifically to your situation, but on occasion my Chase Visa card is declined on a foreign transaction. I then immediately receive an automated fraud notification text asking if this was a transaction that I initiated -- I respond yes and then I can resubmit the transaction and it is approved the second time around. If there is no automated way for you to do this with your cards, you may need to call your card issuer to tell them that this is a legit transaction and you would like it to be authorized.

Has anyone had a golden fox suit made up? Thinking of getting a suit length and not really sure where it lies in terms of performance especially with the light weight.

What kind of fabric would be good for a suit like this double breasted 6 on 1 from assisi. Looking for grey cooler months focussed.

if it were me….I would try one of these two from Harrison’s fine classics. I handled them in person when I met with my tailor. They absolutely blew me away.

What's the general wisdom on lining for lighter coloured open weave trouser fabrics for summer? I'm looking at some ivory/off-white linen and would like to keep everything as cool as possible. I recognise that I'd only wear white underwear with them, but do people here usually put knee-length front lining on white/off-white linen/open weave trousers?
It is not at all abnormal. Maybe not tan/fawn, but lighter than that. Solid yellow, cream, even pink.

To be sure, ask your tailor. Female tailors, especially, seem to be sensitive to that issue.

Does anyone know of a mill or merchant that produces a non-100% cotton velvet?

perhaps a silk or blended material velvet?
