I have samples, and this is rough, rough stuff. A true tweed, if you will. Get a densely woven lining. Also, try these guys out: http://www.ardalanishfarm.co.uk/shop...on2.asp?cid=15 Their stuff is superlative IMO, and some patterns are pretty unique.

Thanks - rough rough stuff is just what I'm looking for. Would you happen to know the weight - 18oz?

I've seen the Arlandish website before- thanks. The Manx is interesting and unique but I don't really care for their other designs.

You're welcome - it's difficult because my samples are not marked for weight, but I would guess about 15oz. The samples I got (grey herringbones) are also not listed any more. You would do best contacting them. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.
