Also, you might note that the strap you posted is "for" Omega, NOT "by" Omega. You might look into that further?
I'm pretty sure that's a genuine Omega rubber strap. It's an older style rubber strap that wasn't very well known or popular since it originally came out around the same time as the Bond Seamaster in the early 2000's before rubber straps became popular.

Cross posting, since I'm not sure this falls within the parameters of this thread (if its outside of the scope, let me know and I'll remove)

Traveling up to NYC this weekend - any interesting watch-related stores to hit up in lower Manhattan? looking more along the lines of places with interesting independent or vintage stuff as opposed to big name ADs

Try Aaron Faber Gallery at 666 Fifth Avenue. They always have some interesting vintage watches. https://www.aaronfaber.com/

There are tons of places with used and pre-owned watches around the diamond district, but I just don't get a good feeling about them.

What is your most comfortable watch to wear ? For me, my Santos. Not thick, hugs the wrist, super comfortable bracelet.

My AP RO 15400. Because of the ridged endlinks, the watch doesn't rotate on my wrist unlike my Omegas.

My Sub is the most comfortable because of the bracelet and micro-adjust. I probably use it at least 2 or 3 times a day, especially if I’m going outside a lot when it’s warmer out.

I’m also hoping this watch gives me the confidence to ask a few broad's broads out as well.
Is this another "essential difference" between Omega and Rolex owners?

"Omega owners hope their watch gives the owner the confidence to ask a few broads out...."
versus
"Rolex owners hope their watch gives a few broads the confidence to ask the owner out...."?

Just kidding, Rolex owners!
Plus, as a balm on your outrage, just think of what the Patek owners hope for from their watches!
