After exchanging the original jacket due to a stuck zipper issue the exchange jacket just came in and the zipper pull “fell off”. It’s supposed to be on the left side of the jacket (right side in the photos below) where the flat ends meet each other.

I know this is unacceptable quality from a $1000 dollar jacket but I really like the color and fit. My question is how hard is this to fix assuming I go to a tailor? Or is it not worth it and I should stick to my guns and exchange for a third time? The hesitation on the latter is dealing with ALD customer service has been an awful experience.

Loving the replies to this. Does anyone know of an ivy style Styleforum thread? I couldn't find an active one in my (admittedly cursory) search.

I've realized I'm a size 16 in Drake's shirts and not 15.5.
This one is close. Very colorful, much like Drake’s stuff.

I’m sure a tailor can fix it but you can also try finding someone that fixes bags/luggage as they probably specialize working with zippers…

I would never accept a broken piece. You should definetely return that fleece, request a new one and they should also cover all shipping fees. Broken zippers in this price range are completely unforgivable…

Thanks for the feedback folks. Got in touch with ALDs customer service and off we go for round 3. Hopefully this one is the one…

Does anyone own the wader jacket?

I tried on the coverall jacket but found it too wide? The wader jacket seems like a sportier version.

I received this sleeveless cardigan In L, my usual size : https://www.drakes.com/products/green-lambswool-sleeveless-cardigan?variant=43309215809749

It's much too small. I have the impression that the XL will be too small too and that I would need an XXL. Whereas my jacket size at Drake's is 40/42. Have others tried these vests this season?
I am not sure if it is this season, but I just bought a navy sleeveless cardigan in 2023, autumn, in size XL.

178 cm, around 86 kg

Usually size 54 in chore jackets (52 in linen chore).

I bought the size L one before but it was much too tight in chest and waist.

XL sometimes feel tight in the waist but I am guessing the sleeveless cardigan should be more close fitting, especially if you look at the lookbooks.

Thanks for your return. I specifically want a result that is not too fitted. In L, it is very fitted, a bit like a vest in a three-piece suit. I'm going to try the XXL straight away.
