Given they don't have the factory shop any more, which seemed to get stock globally, they will need to keep doing Archive sales or local versions I would have thought.

i recall asking once when the next archive sale would be, and they said ‘there isn’t anymore planned’ - there was an archive sale several days later.

Also no more seasonal sales… which they used to do at least twice a year.

Hi, I'm considering to get a robber sole one. Would you comment on the sizing comparing to other shoes?
Thanks a lot
I‘m pretty much a UK10 in everything and have slightly wide feet. I tried the Crosby (and deser boot) in UK 10 and 10.5. The 10.5 is spot on and the 10 would‘ve been too short for me.

Thanks both gents! I think I'll go with my usual dress shoes size. Really appreciate your comments.

Raglan coats are up.
Still like the grey herringbone from last year better.

Picked some really nice Drake’s stuff up and some Anderson Sheppard gear from The Rake sale at the Cifonelli sale at the Music Room - anyone in London should visit, closes today.

I’ve been yearning for this for some time now but never pulled the trigger. My mom did it for me and got it as a belated birthday present. I am over the moon.

hard to focus on the coat over a sweatsuit and sneakers

Yeah I hate the way they styled this particular campaign. I like SWD coat fits but this feels less SWD and more simply "lazy". Which is fine, BTW, since we've all been there, just not how I would have chosen to purposefully showcase this outerwear.

I will say, though, that I hate how much I like and want one of those raglan coats; they knocked it out of the park with the shape and the colorways are all really well chosen. I have nice 2 coats already but damn its hard not to want one of these. Even the plain grey and navy seem incredibly versatile.

i would argue the opposite in that choosing a choosing a completely tonal grey outfit only showcases the coat. you already know you can put this coat over a pair of slacks or jeans with a sweater and it'll look good. drakes has this as part of their look books. trying something different here (and the "sweat suit with top coat" frankly been done so much) is hardly egregious.

egregious.

Curious way to represent what we/I said.

Egregious? No. I just don't feel like it showcases it well. Again, coat over sweats? I've done it myself.

I guess if I were trying to be more pointed about what I don't care for here I would say:

I like the point you made about a grey tonal outfit as a canvas for the coat. I think what gets me is the hoodie. I don't think I would have had the same feeling had everything else in the outfit been the same, save a grey crewneck replacing the hoodie. The hood itself adds too much visually up top, IMO; almost a competing collar to that of the coat. I will say that I have never cared for the "hoodie under another piece of more traditional outerwear" look, and I love hoodies-just not like that.
