Anyone know the measurements for the current season bal coat? Drake's doesn't post measurements on their site for some strange reason...

Or maybe someone could compare it to the Camoshita bal?

You should just call them. Or email them.

On one hand, I really love Drake's Bal. Buuut the one thing putting me off is the big pockets seem slightly... imbalanced to me without any lapel. I've emailed to ask what the fabric weight is. I love the look of the fabric, the rear inverse pleat and the collar.
I'm really tempted to buy a Drake's watch cap, when they had their factory shop sale I got to look at the cap and gloves and they're very densely knit.

To fair, many shops in the general area were either boarded up or boarding up.

Just texted a friend in NYC who told me the same. I still don’t understand why a heritage british menswear store would be worthy of damaging. But that’s another discussion.

All the best to all Americans here. This is quite a moment in history , and the eye of a hurricane. I hope the beginning of a better phase for us all.

on a wildly different, and deliberately different note. I really detest the brand rowing blazers. Just throwing it out there.

Same here re Rowing Blazers. It just seems like they took prep/ivy iconography and processed it through a 'streetwear' meat grinder. I know its just meant to be a fun light hearted brand or whatever, but it has always irked me.

Eh, don't get your hopes up too much. I can't trust the yanks to do the right thing, but hey, we'll see.

What’s wrong with rowing blazers? Would it be the same critique as ALD or Noah? I have one of their replica rugby jerseys for the Japanese team and it’s great!

After listening to a pod episode with the founder of rowing blazers I don't really have a problem with the brand. I'm also a fan of the rugbys although a lot of the other stuff is hit or miss.

I’m a fan of the RB rugby’s too. I wish they weren’t so expensive..
But the rest of the range I find the wrong side of preppy kitsch. Now don’t get me wrong, they’re not the first brand to bring humour into a clothing line, RL has done it well for years, but it really lacks the charm RL managed.

I understand their plan too- bring prep and streetwear together in the way maybe Kanye tried once upon a time. They probably don’t have much interest in many of the things I love about classic menswear. I just think at the moments it’s so painfully heavy handed . The poster @keepondigging summed my feelings on it well.

It’s early days for FE castleberry, but I prefer the way he’s going with similar inspiration .
