For those interested in the ma-1 I recently tried the L and XL in black. The sleeves on the ones I got measured about an inch shorter than the posted measurements, but even still there's some sleeve stacking which is stupid on a bomber. Anyway that aside the cut had me wanting to return them almost immediately. It's uniqlo outerwear, so pretty insubstantial fabric and a slim fit overall.

Posting some fit pics for your reference. I’m 5’5” and 68kg, fits are based on Asian Uniqlo sizes, may vary on your region.

I also tried two womenswear items, the women’s mock neck sweat in melange gray and the relaxed fit t-shirt in brown, both quite comfy and passable for men if you wear a few sizes up.

So how do the jeans fit? They seem short.. but I am only 5'7". @OccultaVexillum maybe report in. They might work for me as I have big legs from lifting and pants suck unless they are huge or have stretch.

In terms of fit, it's same as the past season 18FW denim (with the leg opening increased by an inch from the 17FW/18SS models but still has a good taper). The zipper is longer by a few cm. I can relate with the big legs (mine's from running).

When you say same as last year, which one do you mean? There were two cuts last time, I tried them both and kept one in a light wash but I don’t remember which cut I kept.
I remember I preferred the fit of the lightwash which is why I kept it but the colour on the darker pair was better.

Copped more u sweatshirts to add to last year's selection. Got another gray as a backup, orange, and what looks like dark teal as uniqlo's web colors are as accurate as stevie wonder with ms paint. After this done with uniqlo basics just going to cop other ****.

This season's the same fit as the 18FW model (the one using denim fabric, not the moleskin cotton one).

You're right in noting the different cuts last year, there's also the 18SS denim which was more similar to the cut of the 17FW denim having a slightly smaller leg opening and more noticeable taper.

*Updated* Made a chart just for reference :)
U-Denim-comparison.png
17SS used thicker denim, also having a looser, relaxed fit.
17FW and 18SS have the same fit used 11oz denim, reduced leg opening from 17SS, thus, a better taper.
18FW and 19SS have the same fit, have longer zipper area, increased leg opening by an inch, used thinner (10oz?) denim.

Comparison chart are only for models using denim fabric, the "color jeans" released during FW seasons may vary as it used varying fabrics (17FW color jeans used 10oz garment dyed denim, the 18SS navy pair used a cotton/nylon weird thin fabric, 19FW used moleskin cotton).

@jet d'you kop the crewnecks?

these https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/men-u-...&cgid=men-uniqlo-u#start=39&cgid=men-uniqlo-u

and the supima tees but sizing is all over the place so I got a few to see how they fit so i can buy more, all i wear are the supima ones from a year or two ago that were 12.90 ea that are ******* great but i don't think they make them, if these 19.90 ones are the same I'd be happy but i still prefer a knit ribbing on the neck of the tees

The sweatshirts are good but I'll defer to my other favorite brand for basic ****.

I also pretty much live in the regular supima tees. I've noticed the new crop of tees from the past year are scratchier than in the past. The old ones had a really good long-fiber feel. I'm dubious about the new ones.

I picked some of the yellow ones thought they were nice. Seem to feel a little cooler than other colors for some reason. Might be the dye.

Also the striped printed linen shirt which are real nice.

Nice, picked up that blue/teal one as well. Raglan sleeves and side gussets are kind of too sporty for me but the color looks interesting enough and well it's a $40 sweatshirt. Also got a broadcloth button down.

Man, ******* Uniqlo and their ever changing tee shirts. They just need to stick with something that works and keep it. I still have like half a dozen from three or so years ago, forget how much they were, but they're just okay to me. Anyway, plain knit ribbing on those lemaire supima ones would have been better, totally agreed.

Ya the ones i wear have a slight silkiness to them, we'll see about these. I would pay $100 per tee if I could find the perfect jet approved ones. I'll just have to make them.
