As Ozzy said...Vass U.the dark brown short wings, are they from Carmina? rain last?
Cleaned these up today after a lot of recent travel abuse.
Thanks Ironist. Not sure about actual production, but Rezso's email says he is back in tomorrow 8/11.Very nice Shouldaville. You rarely see brown nowadays. Just museum calf, shell, and antique cognac.
Anyone know when Vass factory will be open again?
everything is MTO except for the things they have actively "in stock" at the store.Has anyone ordered from Vads lately and is able to provide an updated price list of everything (MTO charge, museum vs ordinary etc)? Also if someone knows I'd appreciate if you could clarify what classifies as "MTO" (changing the V-cap to straight cap on some models and keeping everything else as is = MTO, changing color/last but keeping everything else constant = MTO?).
Also, what's up with the Vass overload going on atm at B&S?
this was not my experience. I was quoted RTW prices for changing colors/lasts and MTO price for modifying an existing model. if this has changed since March, then I stand corrected.everything is MTO except for the things they have actively "in stock" at the store.
Everything is MTO in the sense that it's made to order (6-8 week wait) but I think you're right in saying that only design or last modifications attract an upcharge.this was not my experience. Do you order by simply contacting the info@vass email address on the website? I need to get into the Vass game before they go all G&G and increase prices by staggering amounts a couple of years in a row...

Thanks for the clarifications, gentlemen. Any idea what the MTO upcharge is?
I don't know if the plan on doing this, but I need to fill some gaps in my shoe wardrobe. Planning on adding 1 Oxblood, 1 Bordeaux, 2 brown museum calf.
