Appreciate the response! Yes, these are on the F last. They're slightly longer than some of my other oxfords, so I suppose that's in expectation given how the last was designed.

As for the heel and instep, everything feels pretty solid. The instep in particular feels pretty great, as I typically have issues with that area given my higher instep.
Looks great!

On a somewhat related note: any tips for matching Vass' shoes to belts? I'm particularly finding it hard to find a matching belt for my Bordeaux museum pair. The closest I can find is this dark burgundy belt from TTrafalgar, but it's so hard to tell online. Anyone got any recommendations?

I thought I'd add my experience and provide a counterpoint to @ThomGault.

When I picked up a pair of shoes from the Vass store in Budapest, I was able to purchase a matching belt. I'm not sure if they still offer this, but I think it would be worth contacting Vass to see if they do. Quality of the construction and materials are very high and the leather is exactly the same shade as the shoes and may be the same quality leather. I've used the belt (and shoes!) on average once per week, maybe more, for about 9 years and it has held up very well. I can easily imagine the belt lasting at least another 10+ years.

The belt is quite thin and flexible, but not at all flimsy and definitely durable! If they still make them, I highly recommend them.

Bumping the matching belt thread - have some brown museum Vass oxfords. Does anyone know if Carmina, Meermin, or Cobbler Union brown museum belts would match the best? And/or if there's a significant quality difference between them? Thanks

Same experience here. Although the latch is nothing special, the leather is the same they use for their shoes and the price quite reasonable.

Buy it from Vass to match the colour. I have belts from Carmina (shell)and Meermin ( suede) too but being your shoes from Vass I will not doubt to contact them. All are good belts and do their job at their price point. Of course shell belts are much durable and pricey, but you wont be disapointed any of those manufacturers at their
prices. Be sure to state your belt size (lenght).

Done, will post pictures when I've received it. For black or brown shoes I wouldn't care, but the museum bordeaux will be a very hard color to match.

Next up is for me to match a watch strap to the belt/shoes... I already talked to Vass and they don't offer watch straps, but curious if anyone has gone down this rabbit hole already. I have a burgundy strap that I might try to darken with some black shoe polish, which should get me halfway there.
