DUDE, Meso, that is literally exactly what I've been looking for, WTF

Sorry man, at least I didn't snag a navy blazer in size 40! :D
These are nicely inbetween chunky and sleek, very nice everyday boots.
I totally get why people like Alden now. Somehow I've accumulated three pairs in the last month.

Anyone know who makes boots like this? These are Sandinista but I don't see any for sale

Does this mean you'll be posting more often in the "official Alden thread"? Three pairs in the last month, eh? That's the first sign.

Hi, my name is Mike, and I spend too much money on Alden footwear. It all started with a photo of some guy's boots on styleforum.net... and so the story goes.

Haha my navy blazer quest has become SF famous. What model of Alden boot is it, do you know?

And ETW, I'm pretty sure the green suede pair are Nonnative, but don't quote me on that ish

I'm looking to get a pair of boots, preferably black, slim, about 5-6" high and of cause, good quality.
I have about a $450 budget, and was looking at white's semi dress in CXL black.

The only thing nagging me at the back of my head, is that I'm worried that the jeans i wear are rather slim with a 18-19cm hem and they wont go well with the White's SD as i believe they look rather clunky?
I'm already planning for the NO celastic toe box version, its suppose to lower the toe profile as well.
And I'm unable to find any fit pics of these boots with such slim jeans as well...

So I will appreciate, if any alternatives are given, or some reassuring fit pics of a white's sd with slim jeans.

^^ White boots are not slim. I would save those boots for 8" openings or wider, which would result in an overall aestethic. Look into Alden boots. Shoe Mart has a pretty nice collection of them. Personally, I'm a fan of the Indy boots. They are not too slim but definitely not clunky.

Just took a quick look through Yoox for some decent brogue boots, these are the ones that caught my eye (I know nothing about the brands):

Maldini, something or other, Sebastian.

I dunno any of the brands, but they're all random Yoox pieces
