Before I get **** for picking up damaged goods that workthatwedo and whomever else is in Atlanta probably passed on, I paid $10.08 for everything. These items were a bit holy, so I simply pointed that out to the GW cashier. She took them away from me, and then told me that they would be trashed, unless I wanted to buy them. I looked at her incredulously, and she offered half price. Done.

This is a 42 L, but it's an orphan that needs help in spots (I took pics of the worst). Should I throw it up for $10 on ebay, as is, and see what happens?

And then this Martin Greenfield handmade suit, which has a tiny whole in the pants. (I know, for a fact, that this has been there for at least a week and a half).

42L you say? should be sent to me, methinks :D

If you want to max out your profit and are not in a rush, list the Brioni at a decent price $200+ with a best offer. If you just want to blow it out, yea $9.99 NR is the way to go. Never know what will happen, but you will prob get A LOT less then if you do a BIN OBO in the long run. As for the MG...I have had some that take forever to sell even in great condition....not as many people know the name even when you put in the listing "Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece"
facepalm.gif

oh wait. 200$ :O

Two thrift stores and a Buffalo Exchange later...

^^^ L-R:

  • Sheffield double-breasted navy blue blazer with peak lapels and single vent. 40 S. Made in USA.
  • Kilgour, French, & Stanbury sinlge-breasted navy blue blazer with notch lapels and single vent. 48 L? Made in USA.

* I bought them to harvest their genuine MOP buttons (there's almost 2 dozen between them). IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN EITHER BLAZER BEFORE I CUT THE BUTTONS OFF LET ME KNOW ASAP

* EVERYTHING ELSE IS TENTATIVELY UNAVAILABLE UNTIL I GET IT BACK FROM THE DRY CLEANERS AND TAKE PROPER PICTURES. *

^^^ L-R:

  • Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece solid navy blue suit. 40 R. Made in USA.

^^^ (detail) Brooks Brothers Black Fleece OCBD navy blue check shirt. BB5 (17 1/4 x 36). Made in USA.

^^^ 2 very nice Eton striped shirts. Both 17 x 34.

* Wasn't somebody saying something about nice shirts in this size?

^^^ Truzzi shirt. 15 3/4 x 35.

^^^ L-R:

  • Carroll Reed Ski Shops, New Hamshire 100% cotton Indian Madras tie.
  • J. Press "The Burlington Knot" 100% silk striped repp tie.
  • POLO by Ralph Lauren 100% wool red plaid skinny tie. Made in Italy. < MOST CERTAINLY NOT AVAILABLE.
    smile.gif
  • No name pocket square.

^^^ POLO by Ralph Lauren lightweight spring jacket w/ side adjusters. Size S.

^^^ ... AND it's made in Scotland by Mackintosh!

^^^ POLO by Ralph Lauren navy blue blazer. 40 R. Made in Italy.

^^^ (detail) Front and back of label from interior breast pocket. Corneliani? It's really nice - pick stitching everywhere and soft, substantial fabric.

And a bunch of really cool vintage Trad / Ivy stuff that will eventually end up in my Etsy shop.

Left behind:

1x VINTAGE Belvest dark chocolate brown belting overcoat. Not sure what size - 44+ or so? Made in Italy. It looked OK - no holes or moth damage, but upon close inspection there was a lot of wear consistent with use. Threadbare places, heavy wear around the pockets and sleeve cuffs, across the back, etc.

1x Orphan Brooks Brothers custom tailored charcoal gray pinstripe suit jacket. 42+ or so?

3x Jantzen Tailors spread collar custom made shirts with fat MOP buttons. 16 x 32 or so.

Thanks for checking this stuff out. I'm sorry that it was so long, but I was already more than halfway through before I even thought to insert spoilers to cut down the overall length. I'll be sure to get on that next time.

I have been told here (and confirmed for myself) that flawed Brioni is nearly always worth picking up. So yeah, I didn't pass on it. Also, I sold my wheels so I probably won't be passing on or picking up anything.

Talking of shoes, anyone want Bruno Magli Loafers 11.5 or Ferragamo Split Toe Caps SZ 11? You can have them for price I paid. Ferragamos are in great nick and really sleek buggers. Cost me $49.99 but worth it I think. They dont fit my damn feet though, oh well..........
Oh Magli's cost me $15. Also can proxy a pair of burgundy Bally Loafers SZ 11 but will cost ya $45 - that thrift store has highball prices

I found this exact piece, size 40R as well. Want to trade?
Only kidding - it would be legendary stupid to trade the same piece and waste fees on postage :uhoh:
