I am going to +8 what everyone said. That suit is awesome man!!
Bad ass looking suit! Love it and nice fit.
Youve been killing it with finds recently. How wide is that T&A?
Sorry for the lack of detail, on the move at the moment (I blame any typos on Android).
Damaged shoes cost £21. They're Barkers, unknown model. Auction title said 'good condition', the main listing said 'couple of small marks, nothing noticeable when worn'. (And basically nothing else). I'll get in touch with the seller to try to work something out; I think I would have been getting a solid deal without the damage.
Thanks for help everyone , and keep rocking that suit 330ck!
I have the exact same shirt (also thrifted). I had to have the side seams taken in but really like this shirt.
Calling Mr. Brianpore. What size shoe are you and do you like chelsea boots?
Between a US 7-8 depending on the manf. and 100% yes. Been looking for a pair. PM sent
Got a wig for his wig, got a brain for his heart? Man I've missed that.
(Also a test post to see if this forum will actually let me post, as my last 6 attempts have failed).
Went to the same shop where I found the shoes in my intro post, and found these... Research says these are Crockett & Jones correct?
My eyes got huge when I saw them, as they hadn't been there the day before and were approximately the style I'd like to find for myself. Then I saw the price on the bottom of the sole... Seemed like they could have a new life after a refurb in the right hands but since they aren't my size, I passed. Figured I'd see what you guys thought about them. The price is nuts for the condition right?
On the other hand, I also found these there, and they just happened to fit like a glove... Hoping they're legit.
I came here to ask and the post didn't work, so I ended up going back for the Magli's the next morning (when I found the Polo's) and they were still available so I grabbed them. Got them home, tree'd / cleaned them up and they're looking 10x better. Supple calfskin goodness, real or not, pretty stoked with them.
Everything about the Maglis looks consistent with the pair I found.
Before I get shit for picking up damaged goods that workthatwedo and whomever else is in Atlanta probably passed on, I paid $10.08 for everything. These items were a bit holy, so I simply pointed that out to the GW cashier. She took them away from me, and then told me that they would be trashed, unless I wanted to buy them. I looked at her incredulously, and she offered half price. Done.
This is a 42 L, but it's an orphan that needs help in spots (I took pics of the worst). Should I throw it up for $10 on ebay, as is, and see what happens?
And then this Martin Greenfield handmade suit, which has a tiny whole in the pants. (I know, for a fact, that this has been there for at least a week and a half).
If you want to max out your profit and are not in a rush, list the Brioni at a decent price $200+ with a best offer. If you just want to blow it out, yea $9.99 NR is the way to go. Never know what will happen, but you will prob get A LOT less then if you do a BIN OBO in the long run. As for the MG...I have had some that take forever to sell even in great condition....not as many people know the name even when you put in the listing "Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece"
$498,000 BIN OBO. Done.
Your in So Cal....Maybe there OJ's? I think he wore a size 12.
