@Sartoriamo Absolutely incredible haul, can't imagine the high you were on. I too was surprised when I found LP mainline that was made by Isaia, was kinda disappointed in a way. Still top-of-the-line by Isaia standards though. I've also found mainline LP with no Isaia tags, so I'm sure it was just a fleeting time of outsourcing production to Isaia (though who knows who else they outsourced too). Always wanted to believe they were sewn by a Loro tailor on one of their yachts, but if wishes were horses...

Back from my first trip to Japan last month and I was amazed by the quantity of vintage menswear shops in Tokyo and Kyoto. This is probably old news for everyone in this topic.

Want to go back ASAP regardless, but really makes me want to bring a a checked luggage of all the Made in USA, Filson, Eddie Bauer, REI, etc. that I can find cheap in Seattle and supply some of those shops. Has anyone done this before or written a styleforum post, etc?

Any recommendations? I'm headed to Japan in April and just going to stay in Tokyo.

Estate sale of a dude who really like the Andover Shop. View attachment 1126533

Most of the suits are double breasted, peak lapel, dual vented with surgeon cuffs.

Best part is the vests.

Those suits look gorgeous! Made by Southwick it looks like? Their recent stuff that's for private labels is some of my favorite stuff to find. Great detailing, fabrics, and cuts all around.

Two questions. Anyone know the BB label? I don't think I have ever seen those "B(?)FS" letters before. One of the rare BB ties i pick up because its black watch and I didn't have a tie in that so of course. Not really of any consequence just interested.

Second, I left a Valentino full length with belt fully lined shearling jack. Nice rounded lapels and buttery soft. Still had the authentication card in the pocket that detailed the style, who it was made for, where (Spanish shearling made in Italy) and all that. It was older because the text on the card was sort of typewrite style. It wouldn't be for me and would go off to @SpooPoker if I went back and it was still there. Is it worth picking up for 30$?

BFS Means Brooks Factory Seconds.

I would get that shearling for $30 and send it to @SpooPoker for sure. :D
