Two pairs of pants from opposite ends of the spectrum.

Not sure if these are orphans or not, but no pants to be found for any. All single button.

Anyone here ever get serious about thrifting books? I feel like I'm misisng a large section of the store and don't know where to start but I see a lot of used books (mostly nonfiction) that sell easily in the 50-100 range.

I see a lot of used books (mostly nonfiction) that sell easily in the 50-100 range.

What books might these be? I’ve found a few, but don’t go out of my to look for them, as around here, it seems pointless — or maybe I’m limited by my interests. I’ve found a 1st paperback Gravity’s Rainbow (amazing orange cover) which *was* worth a bit at one time, some early David Foster Wallace 1sts (fluctuates, but I’d never sell), and most recently every early Robert Ludlum 1st, which got my heart rate up, though those seemed to have waned as well.

Very curious what you look for!

Not worth it imho, there are people who do this for a living. They have scanners and just go down the line scanning the UPC on every book and they have programs that tell them the price after fees and shipping. I have seen them at thrift stores (a whole family blocking the entire book section), at library book sales and even at garage and estate sales. You can find YouTube videos on them and they will explain the equipment to buy and the apps to get.
