following rule #1 I circled back to the store where I found the iron hearts, some mcconaughey guy gave up on the fades smh. Picked up some slightly broken in momos with a pink selvedge for myself, left behind a few pairs each of n&f and Tanuki selvedge.

finally reassembled my vinyl setup and although i figured out a workaround i didn’t have a proper preamp, until now. Unseasonal shearling and a pop on pelican, the 1075 fits my little macbook perfectly. And rounding things out a choice hanes single stitch for personal. I spent much of last year living (and thrifting :) in vermont, go figure i find the perfect vtg vt tee once i’m home.

Orgeuil wasn’t on my radar at all, I guess it’s a d’artisan affiliate that does repros of French workwear. Nice slubby chambray with great details.

A bit of a mystery maybe one of you knows.
Last week I bought a big silk Kenzo scarf wrap ,the strange part the tag looks like a Hermes tag, even the way its rolled and the heft of the silk.
So did Hermes make scarfs for Kenzo or what's the story.
Even stranger the next day I find another same size, same quality and same tag no name scarf thats also quite striking.
Any ideas?

I wish I lived closer to Nat and Eazy so we could work out trades. Great stuff, guys.

A couple more projects. I removed the middle 3 drawers and the mirror on this dresser to turn it into a credenza or media console. It's dated 1964. I need a bigger ******* house to stage this stuff. For now it sits in the garage.

This table had a bunch of large spots where the rosewood had been sanded through and you could see the fiberboard beneath the veneer. You have to recreate the grain by glazing on layers of stain. I'm an idiot for not filming these vids and putting them on YouTube. I could make a bit of money. The finish is shellac.

Yesterday was pretty busy. I started sorting through the electronics but got sidetracked with these. Looks like the guy taped a bunch of concerts he went to in the early 70’s. Sound quality is much better than I had anticipated. I’m pretty thrilled about these.

That looks like an amazing collection right there. Were concerts all recorded back then or could some be the only extant copies...?

Is there a chance these were recorded directly from the soundboard? I wonder if the person worked for a venue or something?

Frenchy my 2 cents is thats an Hermes or made by Hermes, from the direction of the twill to the hand rolled and hand sewn hems and the made in France tag. Do have another bonafide Hermes scarf or square? They have remarkable consistency in their feel, I assume from having their own mulberry tree farm in Brazil to source from
