Thanks for the comments, guys. My main fear is the craziness of ebay in that it is buyer lenient. He can very easily register a complaint that argues that size was not inline with standard sizing. Whatever.

I'm leaning to denying his request especially since he ended up getting the jeans for 25% less than what I was asking for.,

hope that works out for u. update us on what happens.

I denied the request, respectfully, and told him I appreciated at how he went about doing it. I did explain that I did have the "no returns" on there because of a bad experience of getting burned. He told me he assumed they fit big since other RRL slim boots seem to fit big but they were pretty TTS (in my experience, slim boots are pretty consistently sized). Anyway, we'll see.

Not sure of the accuracy of it but i was told they are changing the sale model for RRL and sales wont be as frequent or deep

not sure about the percentages of the discount, but i did hear that there will only be 2 sales a year now. the next one is in June. don't shoot the messenger!

I have a friend at RL that graciously lets me use their login/discount and I STILL wait for a price drop.

do what any good lawyer will do: avoid the buyer until they file an official complaint, take no responsibility until you absolutely have to, also dont communicate with seller. in other words avoid them until they file a claim. for a seller, unfortunately, ime, this is usually the most effective way to avoid an unfounded and inappropriate ebay refund that once again favors buyer
