Idk how i would like the bourbon ephriam. I'm actually really having a tough time imagining that.

And it was depressing I barely slept after it...idk what's worse being a pats fan and having them lose a few games and being very upset about it or being decennsitized if they were let's say the Browns.

Actually that's an easy choice and will take the few ****** days a year for the past years they've been amazing

Did some Christmas shopping today. Also my first time trying anything from TGB. Wow, simply amazing. Very citrus-y which made it extremely easy to drink. Now I need to upgrade my glassware.

Some more trappist (and St. B) for tasting. Still out of Orval at the local supermarket. :)

Third Trappist double in my Trappist tasting stage. :) Not quite as nice as its Belgian colleagues, I have to admit.

What the ****. So cheap. That's like the price of one beer here

I need to move to Europe. Or Vermont. Or MA or Cali.

indesertum: yeah, it is cheap here... Some examples: all trappist beers (inc Orval) under 2€/ bottle. Most of them around 1.3. Saison Dupont 1€/ bottle. Big bottles usually 4-5€. Geuzes 2-4€. Special beers (Struise, Dolle) around 2, max 3/ bottle. Special geuzes (big bottles) 10€.

This is also why we don't get some of the prices you guys pay for new releases... We're spoiled!.. :embar:

: )

Makes me wonder what these cost over there:

Poleeko Pale Ale, Raging ***** Belgian IPA, Anchor IPA, Goose IPA, Brooklyn East IPA, Snake Dog IPA, 312 Urban Pale Ale.

(Available in the local supermarket here.)

Easily $35 - $40 NYC

Wow.

American beer over here (supermarket, 35,5 cl):

Poleeko Pale Ale – € 2,79
Raging ***** Belgian IPA – € 2,79
Anchor IPA – € 2,79
Goose IPA – € 2,49
Brooklyn East IPA – € 2,49
Snake Dog IPA – € 2,59
312 Urban Pale Ale – € 2,49

That's about the same price as the IPA's from medium to small Dutch breweries.

Holy ****, that's an absurd price to pay for a nasty bottle of the green 312 (the yellow 312 used to be a pretty nifty drink before the buyout that moved all of the mass produced beers out of Chicago, but those aren't good now either).

It's actually not that bad. What's it cost per bottle in the states 1.75-2 bucks maybe? 20-30 percent price appreciation is much better then the other way around when European beer sells here and it's 100-300 percent price appreciation.
