Here’s how I weigh decisions like this:Hey guys,
I got offered a sweet LHS here, but having no experience of buying preowned myself, I would like to ask how far we can restore this shoes back, seeing that the upper is quite creased/squashed

I'd been looking for a plain toe Color 8 boot for some time, and as soon as I saw these, I knew they were exactly what I was looking for.Something about that plain toe boot with flat welt on antique double leather made me pull the trigger!
We'll be triplets!I'm in as well, looking forward to them.
The ones I've seen posted here lately have all been stock 2210s as far as I know, so apparently there is that potential (assuming that the apparent color of the stitching is not a camera artifact). I suppose you could use some Alden Color 8 paste wax just on the stitching (or Saphir Cordovan Cream overall) to keep the stitching matching the original color...Question on color 8 NSTs. I see lots of them where the stitching has turned almost white. Are those specific models or do they all have the potential to fade to white? I don't like the look and want to know if there is a way to ensure they stay the same shade like when they were new?
Those are beautiful.
