Schedule for the weekend of the Styleforum 10th Anniversary Party


Friday May 4

5:30-7:30 PM - Meetup- In the spirit of San Francisco Styleforum Meetups, we will meet for no-host drinks at one of the areas fine cocktail establishments. We look forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming anyone who will be coming in from out of town for the weekend. The location will be finalized and announced as we get closer to the event.

8:00 - Dinner- A no-host dinner. Location to be announced.





Saturday May 5

A swim anyone?





12noon - 6pm - The Styleforum Showcase. This will take place in the second floor "Industry" room of the W Hotel and will feature many favorite suppliers and retailers of clothing, shoes and accessories. Food and beverages will be served throughout the event.




W Hotel Lobby



7pm- 10pm - Anniversary Party- A hosted event compliments of Styleforum and it's sponsors. Come meet your Styleforum friends and enjoy an evening of fun on the fourth floor terrace of the W Hotel. Food and beverages will be provided. More details will be provided.









Sunday May 6

10:00 Am - No host brunch. We will select a place near the waterfront once we have a head count.


Styleforum will be able to confirm shortly a special discounted room rate at The W Hotel for Styleforum members. The number of rooms will be limited so be sure and watch for the announcement.

Just confirmed that Epaulet shop will be there as a vendor (and Mike knows how to party). In addition to his knowledge of parties and Epaulet goods (www.epauletshop.com), he and the lovely Adele will be bringing a full size range of Carmina in a popular last so that people can get sized properly, for MTO. Joe from Mytailor.com will also be there. There are a lot of other inquiries already, and I will update our vendor list regularly, as their participation is confirmed.

Oh, right. And we will take a straw poll on where to eat in San Francisco the day before the party? Should we go super old school and take over the Tadiche Grill? Significant others are welcome to all events. They must be okay with shoe circles. Or maybe it's better if they are not.

Should we go super old school and take over the Tadiche Grill?.

It is the oldest restaurant in California. I like it, especially for fresh crab and French bread. If we can get a good group count before hand maybe we can arrange it.

I love Tadich Grill.
I have no idea whether they do private parties, etc.
Great reminder, I haven't been there in a few years,
Authentic, no pretense, etc. Reminds me of places
i went to in New York 40+ years ago like Sweets,
which is now gone but dated from the 1820s.

I'm not sure how well Tadich Grill would handle a large group - there's only the one dining room, and it's pretty narrow. Sam's is similar, and may be able to handle larger groups.

Someone already mentioned Foreign Cinema, I actually prefer them for brunch over dinner, but they have a fantastic private room which can comfortably accommodate dozens of people.

You should change whatever is the most casual dining experience to San Tung. Dry Fried Chicken Wings and beer > stuffy old restaurants.

Ya'll coming to my City by the Bay and you go inland to the stuffy Financial district?? The WaterBar or Water Front or The Boulevard!!! Then midnight stroll by AT&T Park to pick up strays from the Giants/Brewers Game. Sat/Sun games at 1:05
