I love danko but it's pricey. It's actually a great value for what you get, IMO, but for something like this it's a non-starter.

Well, maybe it could work if the SF Anniversary crowd were divided into two, those allowed inside who would be eating and drinking, and those left outside who could peer into the windows, little noses and fingerless-gloved hands against the glass.

or, and this may work, R&G Lounge has three or four floors, maybe we could take over one of those and have them serve some massive cantonese buffet?
Or maybe this is a stupid idea and the party should just be all booze.

We had a great meetup at the R&D a few years ago when Globetrotter came to town. They have those large round tables and can handle just about any crowd with a little advanced notice.

But,there is always the Comstock a few blocks away if we want the booze option.

I'm hearing rumors of a midnight canoe sing to Alcatraz.

If so, this is very OKD except for the Alcatraz part. But, it might be enough to get RSS to show up in his Cleverleys that don't fit anymore.

So, my question: canoe sing?

If you provide the canoe, I will bring a paddle.

I forgot to mention that we will have door prizes. I might be expansive enough to give you guys the shoes off my feet. Or maybe just a nice pair of new shoes. Who doesn't like free stuff, especially when they were going to buy it anyway. Of course, the kicker is that last prize is going to involve F. Corbera and some roofies, so it's a win/lose situation.
