Which line of Zegna?
I have both Trofeo and Traveller at my wardrobe - they are still in excellent condition after 2,3 years.

Quote: I would be upset too if the suit become unusable after 2 month, but how many times you wore the suit during the period?

Any pics?

Lai sifu isn't too busy right now so my tweeds were finished pretty quickly.

Anyone know where the nearest grouse moor is? I'm guessing somewhere in the New Territories, right?

Penfold, that is an excellent result. Might have gone for no roping in the shoulders, but great! What weight is that?

It seems not smooth under the collar from side picture, is it due to one-piece back?

480g so 16/17 oz. Had to turn the aircon to Arctic before taking the fit pictures.

Guys, have some friends coming to HK - they would like to get a suit turned around within 5-6 days (for a wedding and groomsmen).

Quality expectation isn't super high - just something reasonable at a reasonable price. They originally quoted USD500 but I've already told them that's impossible!

Let me know if you have any suggestions, the timing is probably most important factor. Thanks.

Sorry I haven't updated my tuxedo results with Lee Baron; I was out with the flu for two weeks after I came back to the States, and am just starting to feel better today. I had one basted fitting, was scheduled for one more Saturday, but they emailed me and said the power went out in their factory so I had to come in on Sunday, the day before my morning flight. I really could have benefited from one more fitting, but the results came out OK. I asked for the jacket to be a little loose so I can play double bass standing, but it may be a little too big based on my initial impressions. I will take a few pictures within the next few days so I can get your suggestions on fit.

Thanks, all.

HI,

I bought Zegna Trofeo Suits from Jantzen Tailor . Very satisfied with the quality and the make.

Do post a few fotos for us when you have a minute.

How much does a Lee Baron suit go for these days and what's their turnaround time? Thanks.

I'll play along since I happened to stop in today. Depends all upon your fabric.
It feels 102 degrees today so you probably want something else. Price is on the tag, I consider this mid-high end fabric. But expect something in the $7000-8000 range for standard 100-120's.
Thomas mason shirting was quoted at $1100-$1200 per shirt.

Why there are two price listed? Fussed and canvassed ?

Nope. One is J, designated for Jacket.

I'm not from overseas so never ask them about turn around time. Best way is to email or (call) if you intend to work around your travel schedule:

Here is the card:
