Christ, I'm going to Paris for the first time in a few days and you guys are really freaking me out.

Just leave your wallet, passport and such in the hotel safe. Put some cash in front pants pocket and a few cards in the other. Nothing in your back pockets. Carry your phone in hand. You’ll be taking lots of pics with it anyway.

No worries. Anyone who approaches you wants something.

Never really liked peak lapels. Have passed mine on to eBay.

Was checking Paul Stuart shoes just now. Are their benchmade in England from C&J?

depends on the model, older made in England is Master Grenson, some are CJ benchgrade, some are AS, looks like they phase out GG completely.

I probably have a unhealthy fondness for peak lapel (and I have no problem wear peak lapel suit every other day to the office)

I wonder if the sales associates will tell me who makes them? Sid Mashburn’s store admits their benchgrade are Alfred Sargent but won’t say where their Italian stuff comes from.

Seriously considering C&J brown loafers and brown Chelsea boots at Sky Valet. Need to visit.

Obviously works on DB but I feel self-conscious wearing them on SB suits. No idea why. Had three (RLBL, Phineas Cole and Brooks) but realize I wasn’t wearing them and sent them off.

Noone will steal from you like Uber. 99 euros for Marais-CDG!

Well the RER at 10 euros is more practical. Of course as you go through the Saint Denis area you can cross a gang or two in the train.

Uber are thieves but it is safer (apart of course if you have a driver like the one who raped and killed a foreign girl two years ago).

if you travel to NYC just take a look, who is CJ who is AS is pretty obvious, though CJ would probably fit better the AS for PS, the AS for PS use to carry seems to be in some absurd narrow width instead of CJ where they actually carry the normal CJ medium width

I'm more self conscious about wearing DB, so sold all except 1 (RLBL), think I wore them <4 times a year though...
