I dunno what class I am in, but I am certainly "low-brow".
No worries lad, as you get a bit older your brows will get higher...at least in relation to your hairline.

Why is it always the kibitzers--those who haven't participated in a discussion, are new to the forum, and/or know little or nothing about the subject at hand?

I was just trying to bring a bit of levity to the situation since it has been a bit painful to read the back and forth. I mean no offense. I have learned a lot from you over the past several years.

Dinna fash (no worries)...it puts me (all of us) on edge, as well.

gentlemen, let us not fight and instead come together on something we can all agree on: gemming
On gemming, I actually cut open a pair of rtw Gaziano & Girlings a few days ago. That gemming was super tight. Had to cut the gemming loose, and doubt I'd be able to with my bare hands.
Maybe we'll have bespoke makers use goodyear and gemming soon, too?

Shock horror, gemmed shoes have already infiltrated the British Royal Family

at least Charles had the good sense to pass that spurn of the devil onto Prince Harry (8:25).

Things are going to hell in a handbasket!
