Do you mind sharing what size these are? Your shoes look significantly more sleek than the pictures I saw when contemplating a purchase of Robert last shoes a few weeks ago....maybe I need to reconsider...or maybe your size 16's are skewing things a bit...:D

Just landed, thanks guys -

The Robert last that these are on is a really nice, elegant last with a bit more width than my Simpson lasted Derbies, which are not too tight by any means but may be a bit snug on me in an oxford.

Not at all, they are a 9UK. Not too big or too small.

How soon do you normally hear from The Armoury when asking questions through their info email address? I sent them email more than a week ago asking about their NackyMade frames. I still haven't heard from anyone. Are they really that busy now?

IMPORTANT

There seems to be a diverging opinion on sizing. I am looking at a shoe on the Rain last. C&J 348 in 8.5 UK fit me fairly well. Alden Barrie in 9D works well. Alden Plaza in 9D is too narrow. EG 888 9/9.5 was good.

Would I be a UK 8.5 in the Rain last?

judging from the couple of times I've been there last month, yes they are kinda busy with walk-ins and their future pursuits. best to call them.

Ethan did a good job on those

Yah, so much better in person. I need to take better pics, but have been swamped the past few days.

He told me he used a John Lobb blue polish for the toe. Never would have thought of that.

Inca - Widest last and waist for wide feet (EE width)
Rain - Like the Inca but with a chisel toe (EE width)
Soller - A boot last like Robert, fits like a double E.
Forest - Standard width with round toe (E width)
Uetam - Similar to Forest but a shade narrower (E width)
Robert - Like the Simpson but more room in the toe box (E width)
Queen - an E width, similar to Alcudia but shorter
Alcudia - Like the Simpson but with Almond toe (E width)
Simpson - Narrow with chiseled toe, extended toe box (E width)

I'm surprised the Inca is listed as the widest last. I've tried the Inca, Forest, Rain, Simpson and Alcudia lasts, in what I assumed were standard widths. Out of those, I take a 9.5 UK in the Forest and Rain, and a 10 UK in the rest.
