Suit care quick questions

Hi. I recently bought two new suits and started a job where I wear them every day.

  1. I bought this brush http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0..._rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=2079475242&pf_rd_i=deskto and the bristles seem too stiff. For wool suits, should I opt for a softer brush? I heard that horsehair should be softer than boar bristle, which is what seems to be used in the Kent brush.
  2. Is it better to hang a pair of trousers upside down by the end OR by folding it in the middle on a clothes hanger?

Thank you

1. Yes. Get a softer brush or a plain lint brush. Don't over-do it.
2. You won't get 1 stock answer for this. I fold it over on a hanger under the jacket. I press my trousers before every wear(with a "buffer" cloth between the iron and material.)

Also, don't dry clean your suits every week...or separately. If you spill something on your pants, dry clean the entire suit.

I can go a year w/o dry cleaning suits as long as I rotate, brush off after each wear, air out and store them properly.
