Not high end fashion stuff, but classic English evening attire. Will serve you better, I suppose. (BTW: Most English classic makers have velvet smoking jackets in stock at different price points; sometimes you even get lucky on Ebay)

I mean whatever the Tom Ford jacket looks like you can obviously find a substitute but it will (at least most of the time) lack the quality and design of the other one (depending on the price/brand of the substitute of course). You should definitely check out D&G's online store. I bought a tux jacket from there for like ~700 euros (live in Europe) and the quality was awesome. It is still MUCH less than the TF retail price
