Has anybody bought Schneider from Harrods before?
I'm wondering how they're sizes translate.
Is it the standard V = M, VI = L, VII = XL ?

I thought this had been covered before but I couldn't find the post and the Harrods CS rep was not helpful.

Just ordered a size V there

Awesome, thanks. Curious to know how it fits. My chest measures 99cm circumference. 180cm height.

Hi all. New here. Schneider fan.

I just picked up the Adrift shirt, which was one of the pieces from the FW collection that really excited me from the start. Thought I'd post a review/ask for some advice.

Initial impressions: beautiful construction and fabrics, as expected. The top one is a sort of light, soft flannel, the middle is heavier and stiffer (almost like canvas but not quite); the bottom is like fine-weave dress-shirt cotton.

I ordered a 4 (my usual size), and it definitely fits roomier than the standard Schneider 4. I really like how it fits in the chest but a bit unsure about the length of the sleeves.

Speaking of the sleeves, the construction is really cool. The panels twist around the arm, which wasn't apparent in any of the photos I saw from retailers:

I really like it with the sleeves rolled:

BUT here is the rub... While it looks great from the front, I feel like the construction of it leaves the side and back looking pretty awkward.

When you're spending this much on a shirt, I feel there shouldn't be many compromises like this, so thinking about sending it back. I'm not sure if sizing down to a 3 would help the back and side situation... or even if it does help, if it would be less ideal in terms of length and the chest, which I feel are spot on here with the 4.

Curious to hear others' thoughts!

I think it looks fine . I also think his stuff looks best tucked and then with a little back billow.

You could just get darts placed by any competent tailor which would be about 10-15 dollars.

Or return in

Thanks. True about tucking it in. I just tried it and it helps for sure.

My concern about the back is more about how the area around the shoulders/arms fits than the overall looseness of the back (which I like), though, so I'm not sure if darts would help.

Thanks, all. Maybe I'm overthinking it. It also possible that the awkward part on the upper back might go away, too, once the fabric is washed and softens up a bit.
Will sleep on it...
