Here's a (kinda crappy) picture of the Black Wick since someone asked about it earlier. Wool is amazingly soft and great quality, and the coat is actually really warm.
Sorry about the pic quality, was stuck in a hotel when I took this,

That dude's fit looks good to me.

BUT WHAT DO I KNOW

Re: pear-shaped.

"It describes a situation that went awry, perhaps horribly wrong. A failed bank robbery, for example, could be said to have "gone pear-shaped".
The origin for this use of the term is in dispute. The OED cites its origin as within the Royal Air Force (...) in the 1940s, from pilots attempting to
perform aerial manoeuvres such as loops. These are difficult to form perfectly, and are usually noticeably distorted—i.e., pear-shaped."

Looks good, which version is that? I can't find a black wick with shoulder detail

what does it mean when a situation goes pear-shaped?

is it like getting pregnant?

Perhaps. I didn't mind the fit actually and think Reedo is way off on what he is seeing personally.

I mean it could just be the pic or the way the jacket is falling, but it's pretty obvious that there's extra fabric that juts out around the gut and makes it look bigger than it would otherwise, while still fitted in the shoulders/chest...so...pear shaped

That's just how a jacket that isn't skintight falls / looks like when worn open ?

I think the narrowness of the inset shoulder and contrast of colors/materials combined with the elastic hem that emphasize it though

I mean, are you saying that every jacket that's not worn skintight makes a person look pearshaped or has that silhouette? Because that's patently false

ok there's something going on in that picture. at first glance I was with you guys, thinking reedo was crazy. but now that I look closer, the outer contours of the jacket do form a pear shape. I think the camera angle and some other factors might be causing it to look worse than it probably is in reality
